Sonic Drilling & Direct Sonic Injection

Redox Tech has a growing fleet of sonic drill rigs that can tackle difficult drilling conditions in almost any environment. Sonic drilling technology provides safer and faster drilling than conventional methods while simultaneously achieving better core recovery with fewer depth and formation restrictions.
Direct Sonic Injection
Over a period of five years, Redox Tech has developed, established, and refined the method of direct sonic injection (DSI), allowing remediation injections to be performed directly through sonic tooling seamlessly as a part of the drilling process. DSI has opened the door to cost and time effective injections at almost any depth in contaminated media.
While sonic drilling has been a component of remediation injections for some time, traditional sonic methods require wells to be installed, or for packers to be deployed within the borehole. Direct sonic injection cuts out intermediary steps, using proprietary dual injection-coring tooling to deliver amendment top-down, or bottom-up.
DSI Advantages
• One rig for all geologic conditions encountered on site
• Refusal is highly uncommon and unlikely
• Eliminate cuttings associated with HSA or Air Rotary
• Injection of slurries or water solutions
• Depths to 200 feet with our available rigs
Sonic Drilling Services
Applying sonic drilling to site characterization and ensures that high quality, continuous subsurface data can be collected across your entire site. Sonic sampling collects continuous cores from any formation type and generates less investigation derived waste (IDW) than conventional drilling methods. Our Geoprobe 8140LC fits through a standard bay door, and is fully operational inside of active facilities. Our Terrasonic 150CC and Geoprobe 8150LS are drilling powerhouses that can achieve depths up to 200 ft. below ground surface for sampling and well installation.
